About Our Solar Slats

Our solar slats are specially designed for the warm climate of Spain.
These slats are transparent with a black layer on the underside.

How They Work

• Heat Absorption: The black layer on the bottom of the slats
  absorbs solar energy and transfers it to the pool water, heating
  it up.
• Insulation: The air chambers within the slats provide insulation,
  helping to retain the heat during the night. This can increase
  the pool temperature by 5-7°C for free.

Quality and Durability

• Material: Our solar slats are made from polycarbonate, a highly
  durable material. Polycarbonate only starts to deform at 140°C,
  whereas PVC begins to deform at 78°C.
• Resistance: Polycarbonate is impact-resistant and can withstand
  low temperatures, making it an ideal choice for pool covers in
  various climates.
• Versatility: We also offer transparent polycarbonate slats, which
  are particularly suitable for indoor swimming pools.
